CaliBear was created for people that live an active and healthy lifestyle. Their organic hemp is farmed in the nutrient-rich soils of the Pacific Coast. All of Cali Bear's industrial hemp plants begin with top CBD genetics and are raised by the energy of Earth and the Sun. All of Cali Bear's CBD extracts are 100% American-made, non-gmo, lab-tested, with no pesticides, no artificial flavoring, and are blended with the highest quality products available.

Label design & Packaging

Attention capturing packaging while reaffirming to the consumer they’ve selected the correct product are the principals I follow when creating product packaging and labels. Over 70% of American consumers are influenced by packaging design (according to ipsos research) when making a purchase. Effective packaging should include required content while reaching the brand’s target audience.

Designed all web-ready assets, icons, sitemap, and a high-fidelity figma prototype before sending to the web developer. RESULTS. Cohesive branding, image load time improved, product sales increase.

Social Strategy

By creating a social media strategy for Cali Bear, I was able to establish clear goals and measure success. Cali Bear's social media promoted their sponsored Cali Bear athletes as well as the AVP at both the Manhattan beach open and Chicago open. Promoting was done early and our own on-site photographer captured amazing action shots. Cali Bear is proud of all of their sponsored athletes so each was followed very closely and active engagement and increased social following proved interest by new and current followers.

When AVP ended for the season Cali Bear social strategy was to engage those new followers to Cali Bears new landing page and new product launches. Social engagement remained consistent and product sale increase followed. Brand awareness great, customers turned into product advocated (as the product quality was a hit!), this led to increased sales, and improved customer retention overall as Cali Bear continues to not only promote their products by also the interst of their Cali Bear athletes.
